Meet the Hosts
Jay Scherick
For the past 28 years, Jay Scherick has been writing with his partner David Ronn. Early in their film career, Scherick & Ronn focused on comedies such as Guess Who with Bernie Mac and Ashton Kutcher, and Norbit with Eddie Murphy. But halfway through their careers, after having children of their own, they shifted to family films such as The Smurfs, Zookeeper, and Clifford the Big Red Dog. Over the past three decades, Scherick & Ronn have had ten major motion pictures produced.
In addition to raising and family and maintaining a career, Jay has been intently pursuing higher spiritual truths for most of his life.
David Ronn
David Ronn's father was a chemical physicist who raised David to only believe in things that could be definitively proven. As such, David has spent most of his life poo-pooing anything spiritual.
However, after working for nearly thirty years with a very spiritually-minded writing partner who likes to pontificate, David has become increasingly less certain about his beliefs. Part of him wants to believe there is something bigger out there. But the other part demands scientific proof.
David is a husband and a father. He's afraid of death, germs, and experiencing bad feelings of any sort.
Fiona Harris
Fiona Harris is an energy healer based in Western Canada with over two decades of experience. Trained in Reiki and hypnotherapy, she specializes in past life readings, healings, and quantum regression. Guided by a lifelong calling to help others heal on a spiritual and emotional level, she now connects with clients around the world.
Christopher LaPrath
Christopher LaPrath is an intuitive reader and perception strategist who helps people uncover and shift the unseen patterns shaping their lives. With a master’s degree in Human Dynamics, he blends psychology and intuition to guide clients toward clarity, transformation, and new possibilities. He has appeared on Gaia TV’s Open Minds and will soon debut his own series, Beyond the Veil with Christopher LaPrath. He is also the author of the supernatural novel Trestle Creek: Things the Dead Fear, now in development as a film.
Bernadette Gavin
Bernadette Gavin is a New Zealand–based animal communicator who bridges the connection between humans and animals, both living and in spirit. Her work reveals the emotional and energetic lives of animals with clarity and compassion, supporting healing, behavioral shifts, and connection that transcends death. She is also the author of the upcoming book By the Light of the Moon.
